New sign-ups at Crufts

It’s been a hectic third day at Crufts. Saturday is always supposed to be the busiest day and with people (and dogs!) everywhere you look it seems to be the case. There’s been lots of interest on ThePet.net stand. We’ve signed up loads of new pet-friendly businesses keen to tell you what they’re up to. Here’s just a few of them:

Bluebell Country Kennels and Training Centre
Dogs at Home
Wilmslow Pet Shop
Abbey Veterinary Group
Pet Services Agency
Ashleigh Veterinary Centre
Pet Blood Bank

If you’ve used any of these services – please follow the above links to write a review and tell us what you thought.

Adventures in the NEC

It’s day two of Crufts and we’ve already had a very exciting and tiring time up here in Birmingham. We have met some lovely people and would just like to thank everyone who has travelled from far and wide to enjoy this wonderful event and popped in to say hi to us at ThePet.net stand.

Toy and Utility Dog day today has been great fun, and we have all loved watching the dogs strut their stuff in the ring.

Here are some of the photos we have taken so far, so even if you couldn’t make it, you can get a taster of some of all the fun we have been having. Mona and MarcMarc and MonaAndy and friendsNigel, Marc and DogPoodles

It’s open season at ThePet.net stand

The kids are taking over the stand! We’re exhibiting at Crufts for the first time and our partnership with just released Open Season 2 is bringing in the kids who fancy a break from exploring the massive event that is Crufts. As I write, they are relaxing on our beanbags taking in this hilarious new video.

Marc and myself have been in great demand for press interviews and photo calls. It seems that social petworking is the flavour of the month.thepet.net @ Crufts 2009

ThePet.net at Crufts 2009!

This week ThePet.net will be at Birmingham’s NEC as we’ve got our own stand at the World’s Biggest Dog Show.

If you’re going too then make sure you come and say ‘Hi’ to ThePet.net founders Marc Abraham and Andrew Seel on Stand 10 in Hall 3.

Our ThePet.net Stand will also have something for the younger dog-fans too as we’ll be showing Sony Pictures Animation’s much-awaited latest movie, Open Season 2, starring Mr Weenie the Dachshund and a Poodle named Fifi. So if your family could do with a bit of a break – your are feet are hurting and your kids are tired – why not bring them along to our stand, watch the movie for a bit, and chill out on our funky beanbags?

And if you’re at Crufts on Thursday, then please come along at 1pm to help celebrate the ‘Year of the Rescue Pet’ with representatives of our nominated organization Hope Rescue who work slightly differently to other rescues by acting as a point of co-ordination between dog pounds and rescue shelters.
