We had such a great day on Saturday 19th Sept at the World’s Biggest Puppy Party to raise awareness on Puppy Farm awareness Day so we would really like to say thanks to everyone who came and made it such a huge success on so many levels.

We definitely raised awareness like never before, but also set the bar pretty high for a repeat day next year too. Thanks to all who came, supported, sponsored, donated prizes and time – on behalf of our team and the dogs of the UK, I can’t thank each and everyone of you enough for all you did and continue to do.

What turned out to be such an important ground-breaking day took a real effort to organise and it wouldn’t have been possible without the help of all the anti-puppy farming exhibitors, the celebrities/personalities, but most of all the guests who came from far and wide with their dogs to help raise awareness about puppy farming.

So special thanks to Puppy Farm Awareness Day show sponsors Eukanuba; and also to Reg & Ruby, Pet-ID, Sara Abbott, K9 Kitchen, Barkley’s Dog Emporium, The Dogs Products, Petographer, Spiffy Dog, Funky Mutts, PriceRightHome.com, Paw Plunger, Suzart, Absolutely Animals, White’s Dog Food, Byofresh, Treatment Rooms, Company of Animals, John Paul Pet, Lily’s Kitchen.

Also we’d like to thank the Kennel Club for all their support and letting us tap into their vast experience of dog-show planning, Master of Ceremonies Mr Danny Pike (BBC Radio Sussex), as well as all the charities that supported included Sussex Pet Rescue, Pro Dogs Direct, Dog’s Trust (Shoreham), PAT Dogs, and Vets Get Scanning.

The crowd was also treated to excellent and informative displays by both Canine Partners and Sussex Police Dogs as well.

So in order to keep raising awareness, please check out the professional photos of the event taken by Tabatha Fireman (please credit) which are all COMPLETELY FREE to download:

  1. I sincerely hope there will be no need for puppy farming awareness day by next year. With a concerted effort puppy farming will be greatly reduced. Disappointed that Puppy Love, the organiser of the Awareness day, was not present to inform and advise.

  2. How nice to see the team from Pro Dogs Direct at the party. I cannot speak highly enough of the work this small, but formidable team do. They work tirelessly, not just with rehoming in their areas, but taking and rehoming ex-breeding bitches, from here in West Wales. In addition to this, they actively campaign against puppy farming on their website.

If anyone has any spare time, or spare funds to donate, to this charity, your time and money will be repaid many times over.

Thank you Pro Dogs for all the hard work. Animal rescue is lucky to have you.

  3. We are all working hard to put the Puppy Farms out of business. Hopefully next year there will be no need for a Puppy farm awareness day.
Can the Kennel club stop registering these pups and check on the breeders of dogs. People would then know the pups dont come from a proper breeder and with education would know to walkl away and safe themselves heartbreak..

We could have a big party to celebrate the end of them though.

  4. So, the three organisations who set up puppy awareness day were nowhere to be seen. The hypocrisy of these organisations, Hope UK, Puppy Alert and Puppy Love which are neither Charities nor registered with Companies House should step away from the limelight as they have achieved nothing apart from media attention.

  5. Well done Puppy Love , Puppy Alert and Hope UK the media attention you have gained for the puppy farm dogs has enlightened so many, many people . Ignore the critics because as the saying goes
Those who can — do. Those who can’t — criticize

Talk is cheap but your evidence is out there and is bringing about change for the dogs .
